STM32U5 MCU + TALARIA TWO with Matter v1.2
Adds Matter v1.2 and direct cloud connectivity support to STM32U5 Based Designs
Overview
InnoPhase IoT and ST Microelectronics have partnered to develop a reference solution using STM32U575ZI-Q Development board and Talaria TWO INP3014 EVK targeting Matter certified battery-operated home automation devices, sensors and smart appliances such as door locks, thermostats, air quality sensors, smoke alarms, lighting, window shades, HVAC controls and others. The combined solutions come with Talaria TWO FreeRTOS based software SDK pre-integrated STM32CubeIDE software package enabling developers to have quick time to market for their emerging smart home applications.
Talaria TWO Wi-Fi module offloads the Matter v1.2 protocol stack and cloud connectivity IoT stack, thus enabling more compute and memory resources to be available to STM32U5 MCU for applications processing. Seamless integration of ultra-low power STM32U5 MCU with ultra-low power Talaria TWO Wi-Fi solution enables long battery life for Matter enabled smart home devices.
