Wescom Marketing has been one of the premier Electronics Manufacturers’ Representative firms in the Rocky Mountains since 1985. We were founded in Colorado by Jim Garrett who later left to join Micron Semiconductor, eventually becoming CEO. Also, in 1985 Larry Welch opened the Utah/Idaho location for Wescom based in Salt Lake City. Larry moved to Colorado as President/Owner of Wescom in 1988 and still holds that position today. Micron Semi was the anchor line upon the founding of Wescom and was represented for over 20 years. For the first 20 years semiconductors made up the huge majority of the company’s revenue also representing companies such as SGS and Lattice. Today our line-card is quite diverse with Semiconductors still an important part of what we do but also representing Passive and Electromechanical Products; Networking and Interconnect; Power; Thermal Solutions; etc.
