High Fidelity Wi-Fi Audio
3D Spatial Audio Headset
The global wireless audio market shows robust growth trajectory, with shipments expected to surge to 2 billion units by 2030. This expansion is driven by emerging applications including premium lossless audio, spatial audio experiences, broadcast capabilities, hearable devices, and digital health solutions. However, significant technical challenges persist in the industry, primarily centered around achieving high-bandwidth wireless connectivity while maintaining low power consumption, managing multiple simultaneous audio and data streams, and ensuring multi-channel streaming with minimal latency. These pain points represent critical areas for technological advancement as the market continues its dramatic expansion.
The lossless audio headset reference design with integrated Wi-Fi developed by InnoPhase IoT and GreenWaves Technologies, a provider of AI and DSP processors, integrates ultra-low power GAP9 processor and ultra-low power of Talaria TWO. The solution makes Wi-Fi lossless audio headsets with battery life similar to Bluetooth LE Audio a reality and delivers high data rate and low latency required for enhanced user experience. The reference design is available in a small headphone form-factor together with 3D spatial audio application software developed by IDUN Audio.

Why should you consider Talaria TWO & GAP9 based solution?
Hi-Fi Audio at Bluetooth Power Levels
Talaria TWO has industry’s lowest active Wi-Fi power consumption and adopts smart audio transfer mechanism by going to sleep between short duration bursts of audio downloads. This reduces the overall current consumption of the Wi-Fi radio and long contiguous playback on a single charge.
Rich Audio Experience
GAP9 processor has a highly flexible DSP & neural network processing engine which allows the user to run algorithms offering an immersive audio experiences. The reference design runs a full model of IDUN audio offering multi-channel spatial audio experience. Talaria TWO’s high throughput makes it possible to stream 192 KHz/24-bit audio at a low latency.
Extended Range & Direct Music Streaming
Talaria TWO based headsets can stream hi-res lossless music directly from the music streaming platforms and has an extended range compared to Bluetooth headsets. This allows the user the freedom to roam seamlessly inside the home or backyard.
