Mamiel Signs Distribution Agreement with InnoPhase to Market and Sell Talaria TWO Wireless Multiprotocol Platform

Offering Korean IoT Product Manufacturers the Award-Winning Ultra-Low Power WiFi and BLE Modules

San Diego, CA, October 22, 2020 – InnoPhase, a fabless semiconductor company specializing in extreme low-power wireless IoT solutions, signed a distribution agreement with Mamiel, a leading product and solution provider in Seoul, Korea. Mamiel brings optimized products and technical services to the semiconductor distribution market and now offers InnoPhase’s Talaria TWO System on Chip (SoC) and wireless modules and development boards. The modules give product designers access to emerging technology for next-generation ultra-low-power products in the consumer, industrial, medical, security, energy and smart city markets.

For more than 20 years, Mamiel has been providing innovative solutions with global semiconductor partners to their valued customers in various industries in Korea. Mamiel serves as the top leading partner in all areas, ranging from product design to commercialization, enabling its customers to succeed in their industry. Additionally, it is an authorized STMicroelectronics distributor and has a strong position in the IoT and consumer product segment, where it provides wide business coverage with ST microcontrollers and sensors to its key customers.

Now available to order from Mamiel, the InnoPhase Talaria TWO solution, including INP2045 SoC and INP1010 and INP1011 modules, provide complete solutions with wireless connectivity plus an integrated microcontroller for edge-of-network IoT designs. The highly integrated, multi-protocol single-chip platform includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® Low Energy connectivity for wireless data transfer, an embedded Arm® Cortex®-M3 microcontroller for system control and user applications, and advanced security elements for device safeguards. The modules are ideally suited for battery-based, direct-to-cloud devices in smart home automation and commercial applications such as smart door locks, remote security cameras, and connected sensors.

The modules can operate in stand-alone mode, in conjunction with an external microcontroller, or in a hybrid mode where the system control and processing responsibilities are shared between the module and an external microcontroller.  The modules are now included as part of the ST Partner Program. InnoPhase delivers two key components for supporting development and integration with STM32 microcontrollers.  The Talaria TWO evaluation board is Arduino UNO compatible and plugs directly into ST’s NUCLEO-L433RC and NUCLEO-L4A6ZG boards, creating a complete hardware development platform.  The evaluation board also includes software drivers that integrate directly into new or existing STM32L4 code making it easy for developers to quickly develop IoT products and shortening the time to market for those designs.

“We are pleased to announce the cooperation with InnoPhase to introduce and distribute their innovative and leading wireless solutions to our valued customers in Korea. We are confident that our partnership with InnoPhase will provide our customers with outstanding performance solutions optimized for IoT applications,” said Brian An, CEO of Mamiel.

“We are delighted to partner with Mamiel to promote the Talaria TWOä modules as they have extensive relationships and success selling wireless semiconductor products to customers in Korea,” said Greg Winner, Vice President and General Manager of the IoT Business Unit, InnoPhase.
